What is it good for?
Command line tool to rename and number multiple files at once. Very handy with scaned or digital camera pictures, rendered frames etc.

What it does?
It sorts a batch of files from A to Z or backwards, replace the old name with a new name followed by a number with leading zeros and the old extension. The starting number and the leading zeros format is user specified.

What do I need to use it?
Since its a Perl script you need Perl for Windows. Tested on Windows 95,NT 4, 2000.

Why use it?
Simple to learn, fast to use, can be cutomized to your needs, free.

What is new in version 1.2?
Fixed a numbering from 0 bug in version 1.1. All users should update. Sorry.
