Animator's Stopwatch for iPhone/iTouch now available.
It displays time sequences as:
Film Footage
Film Frames
NTSC Frames
PAL Frames
or
Seconds.
All entries are displayed as the running frame count as well as the intevals between entries.
Time is registered by tapping the screen or giving it a sharp shake.
It's on the iTunes app store. Search for "animation timer".
