This handy little script will create Maya style inbetween shape morphing between selected clips and tie the overall interpolation to a slider, which will reside both under the shape compound for the object in question and in the shape clip ppg in the root of the same object. Especially useful for people who want more control over how they want to animate inbetween shapes.
Installation: Drag the script onto a toolbar inside XSI and install.
Usage: Prepare your inbetween shapes as desired and store and apply them as shape clips. Go into the Animation Mixer, explode the shape compound of the object to reveal the individual shape clips stored inside. Then select the inbetween shape clips in the order you would like them to interpolate and click the AJINBETWEEN script button. All the clips will be linked to a new clip named Inbetween_#. You can either choose to animate this slider in the Animation Mixer, or it's equivalent in the custom shape ppg in the root of the object.
Thats' it... Have Fun! :)
