We just got this project for our Film school at BSU: Do a film, go figure.
We wanted to go big. So we have... PRETTY MUCH everything planned. Now we just have to do the work. We say we can film in 20-23 days around Boise, but then heres the problem.
Were all animators. Or Actors. Or Grips, or Best Boys or Writers or... well, ANYTHING EXCEPT MODELERS. NONE OF US CAN MODEL A HEAD.
I have attempted MANY TIMES to model a head. It doesn't work out well, I don't understand it AT. ALL.
This is where you geniuses come in. We did get a LOT of our Maya 7.0 plugins here, and we thank you a lot. That Render ready app? Didn't comply with our program BUT IT LOOKED COOL!
We need 2 VERY HIGH QUALITY MODELS. This means if we get a close up of their faces or otherwise, we can see EVERY PORE ON THEIR FACE OR EVERY HAIR ON THEIR BODY!
Who, exactly? Why, these gents:

These 2 are Sonic the Hedgehog-based fan characters. They're PERFECT for our story. We have FULL PERMISSION from the artist because he wants to see what we have in mind. We kinda want to also.
So, what we need are 2 models. NO IK WORK OR OTHER FANCY SCHAMNCY STUFF! We REALLY just need these super hi-res models. Thats it.
We really hope you don't think were too demanding, we are 17 kids who would like to make our collective vision a reality. But, since NONE of us know how to model, its kinda moot. We blame Democracy. Or Biden. Whatever.
The deadline to use the Biomed's mocap room is Nov. 17th. We'd like to start mocap work... but were worried the height and the proportion of the spikes would be off, since we've never done Mocap before. And even then, we'd like to see these models in action ASAP! The actors are useless otherwise...
So, if ANYONE could help, we'd love you forever. We can't really pay you... were living off Top Ramen to pull this off. But we WILL pay you someday. Collectively, we said $500 altogether. Maybe for 1 model a piece. But, until then, we all have to work for free.
Please? For the Actors sakes? Thanks!
