PLUMBER TUTORIAL

The Snowfight Sample Project


It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that all users complete the tutorial.

The tutorial is a short sample project, and it demonstrates the major concepts of the Plumber system.  It explains how to use the tools of Plumber effectively, and after going through the tutorial, you will have a solid understanding what the Plumber system is all about.

        - Visit www.plumber3d.com/plumber.html.
        - Choose Tutorial: Snowfight Scene  from the navigation menu on the left.
        - Download Tutorial PDF: Click Here 
  

Install the Tutorial

    1 - Install Plumber as per earlier directions

    2 - From the directory the PLUMBER.ZIP file was unzipped into, copy the myProjects directory to:  c:\myProjects

    3 - Start Maya, and then start Plumber. 

    4 - From the Help menu choose:   HELP>>Run Tutorial

    5 - Plumber will restart with the repository set to:   c:\myProjects

    6 - The show will be set to:  demo

Uninstall the Tutorial

    1 - Start Maya, and then start Plumber.

    2 - From the Help menu choose:  HELP>>End Tutorial

    3 - Plumber will restart with the repository set to the original repository set upon installation

    4 - After Plumber has restarted with the original repository active, delete:   c:\myProjects
