This script takes your selected mesh and writes it as a COLLADA .dae file with textures to a temp directory and then opens the file in Photoshop. Since Photoshop CS3 and above have support for painting 3D meshes and can show UVs in its texture windows, this is a quick way to make a texture without having to fire up ZBrush or Mudbox, which are overkill for some simple texturing tasks.
