nice...again..me beginner to maya..what do advice ..to make a robot like that..
My advice would be to keep at it. Seriously, the best way to get good at Maya is to just do your best to utilize the tools you need. Since you're a beginner to Maya, I'd recommend a quick work tip that will let you make things faster.
Use the Shift-CTRL-ALT-Spacebar keys, hide the interface when modeling. Those buttons will give you hotboxes with everything you need for the particular task you're doing. Less thinking, more working!
