This week The Gnomon Workshop is pleased to announce the release of its first title with world-renowned artist Chet Zar. In his DVD, Digital Creature Painting with Chet Zar: Design and Techniques Using Adobe Photoshop, Chet takes you through his unique process of designing and creating a creature from rough idea through to minute finishing detail using custom brushes.

Also this week The Gnomon Workshop is pleased to announce the release of High Resolution 3D Vehicle Illustration: 3D Rendering and Compositing with Brendan McCaffrey. Some of the topics covered in this DVD are rendering in Maya and Mental Ray, physically based lighting and shading, preparation and workflow, view setup, render layers and passes, compositing in Photoshop, color correction and touch up, special effects and finishing.
