Thanks,
I watched the tutorial in the hope it would show me how you made the grass look like it is in the Thumbnail picture, but you didn't....
So I wondered ????
Did you use a highly subdivided plane, then attach the grass brush to it? - Looks great.....
I'd be grateful if you could tell me how it was done.

Regards John

hey john,
sorry for you comfuse,
the Thumbnail picture are only for display as Thumbnail picture..i didnt hade time to make a scene..i was created this tutorial in the night
it's not render pic. from my tutorial
i just download 3d pic. from the net...
i did that video tutorial because somebody here ask me show how to creat a dynamic grass, so i didnt put much effort for the "look" of the grass...
in the brush library of pfx you can find bunch of brushesh for many kind of grasses, trees and much more good things
you can creat same grass as in the picture..i didnt had the time in the night to look after this brush

hope you are cool with it

you wellcome my friend
all the idea of tutorials are to give you the basic and knoledge to start by youtself things that use the same idea or technics
with this tutorial you can creat and explor by yourself a scene including paint fx
i have'nt study on college how to use paint fx...i just knew its there
whene i had the power to mess with it..it was amazing!!!!!
i can paint a dynamic things in very simple way, i can choose brushes, i can convert it to poly's...i can't say nothing bad on it...just good words

hey ram.
i think that u dont see the video because maby you dont have flash support for your browser.
try to install flash support (flash player)

atmadragon .
paint effect are an option inside maya.
you can find this option in the tabs or via the menu options i think f5 or f6 i dont remember, because normaly i use only the paint effect tab.

Aviad, AWESOME demo--not only was grass cool but got to see lot of movement/usage stuff that I did not know. Thanks again.

After watching it I was thinking like, how could you make the sky blue and look like a sun is up there with grass. Made me want to apply it.
