This is a python script for renaming objects in maya easily.

 

USAGE :

  copy this to " **My Documentsmayascripts " folder .

  Restart maya

 and execute this

    import renamingTool                                                                                                     
    cls = renamingTool.mainClassRNT()                                                                    
    cls.mainUI_RNT()
