The tool works with following cases:

1. Select 2 or more vertices : rainConnector will connect the selected vertices.
2. Select 2 or more edges : rainConnector will connect the center of the edges.
3. Select vertices and edges: rainConnector will connect vertices with the center of edges.

All the cases above work with selection order.

Installation :
1. copy rainConnector.mel to maya/scripts folder.
2. Type "rainConnector()" to access the tool. Put this command in the shelf or assign a hotkey for better workflow.
