When NURBS comes handy, this script does as well:
Rebuilding surfaces in inevitable. Since so much of rebuilding is pretty much the same (Zero to # of spans)
I've decide to write a little script that does that by the parameters.

Select the wanted NURBS surface(s) and run this script (Either by hotkey or shelf button).
The script will rebuild the surfaces using the DEFAULT settings of the rebuild tool, and automatically place the correct number of the # of spans. You can see at the command feedback how many NURBS surfaces have been rebuilded after the script was executed.
