This script gives you a possibility to control dynamic Attractors with Hair curves instead of Soft Body. This works rapidly and gives you a more control over the system, instead controlling each attractor separately.
First cratete a Dynamic Fur Attractors, from standart Maya menu.
Then just select a geometry object ( with attached Fur Desctription) or Fur description and type s3d_convertDynAttractor2Hair() in command line or create a shelf button.
