thanks for the tools but how do it animate it...? i tried using rigid body... but it doesn't break apart...

The extrusion checkbox has been moved into the SolidShatter method Radio button, this breaks the mesh apart as a solid object.

As for animation, the script generates the necessary geometry, and does not include rigid body controls or anything of the like. If you select all the pieces in the shattered object's group, then make them all rigid bodies, you should be good to go for a simulation. Depending on how many slices you make, and what you're attempting to accomplish, you'll probably also want to hook up a control node to effect the various rigid body settings of all the pieces.
