Pyranha is application designed for fastest access to maya scenes and projects.
Pyranha is available for Windows and Maya versions: 8.5, 2008, 2009.

Know issue:
- When is new file created in any directory where wasnt scenes before, cache is not updated.
(only in Use Cache mode)

Installation:
- Copy pyranha_111.pyc to your PYTHONPATH, for example:
C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2008/Python
- Copy pyranha.bmp to Maya icons directory, for example:
C:/Documents and Settings/[username]/My Documents/maya2008/prefs/icons

Execute in ScriptEditor (for pyranha 1.1.1):

Now you can use Pyranha Help menu to Add Piranha to Self
