Guys i hope you can help me out ...
I am trying to learn renderman, i have used maya for some time and have done ambient occlusion by plugging a mental ray ambien occlusion shader to the diff shader and render in mental ray.. Since I cannot use a mental ray shader with renderman, how can i achieve that same effect on a per shader way as with mental ray
Is there a way to do that with a standard maya shader that i can plug in??
I thought of doing it with an environment light and different sets for the different shades of occlusion I needed but I don't know if that is the correct way or if I am on the right track.
Thank you very much guys
