hi,

I'm a fairly new Maya user and can't figure out what is wrong. Would anyknow know how I can unlock vertices so they deform properly? On the first image below, the flattened polygon is based on the sphere with some faces deleted. Second image shows the partially successful blend deformation.. I tried merging vertices and deleting history before applying a blend modifier but still get the problem where some vertices/edges do not move when I blend. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks.
