i need to set a helicopter on fire for the crash scene but i cant set the heli to fire directly cause of it having more then just one shape, thats the error it gives when i try to. so i was going to make a transparent box modeled around it and just set that on fire to do the job but the problem is idk how to turn the fire off/make not visible untill the right key frames... anyone know how i can change this?

If you're using particles or the preset fire effect, go into the particleShape node, and set the time you want it to ignite under Time Attributes > Start Frame.

You can also keyframe the emitter's rate to do the same thing.
