Ok, while testing the new site I broke a few things :) So ill re post. (using firefox 3.5.2)
1. the style sheets on the board and the one in the rich text editor differ significantly, for example bold. bullet- and numbered list don't work in the, board posts. Neither do the indents
2. theres no quote button in the editor to make quote fields (overall the css styles of quotes and code are not different enough to be visible in the posts)
3. RMB mouse is blocked, in the rich text editor. This is a bit inconvenient because at least in Firefox that makes it impossible to use the auto spellchecker selectors. One can switch to html mode to do this tough
4. When posting in html mode and sometimes in rich text mode it produces a blank document
5. Editing a document after the fact dont update the board view (could this be a cache issue), when you re edt tough the changes are there.
6. When editing a reply to existing post the control thinks its as wide as the default editor this cuts off 4-5 letters form long lines making it impossible to see the full line
still lots to do.

Ok i must say that the reply baffled me for a about 13 seconds. I see now what your saying. Good news. Testing edit
Edit still don't show up immediately after commit, But now it does update after a while So its not so bad anymore
I still cannot get message editing to work.. wheel next to Write a Post is turning round and round without loading my message into editor - it stays blank for eons.. FFox3 on w2k and xppro
I am experiencing the same issue than drBlacksnake, using IE7 on xppro.
When I click on the edit button, the browser focus goes down to the "write a post" caption with the wheel making wind forever (well, I don't think I ever waited more than 20s for a change).
The caption stays the same as when a thread has loaded, ie no editor of any sort is showing (the post body doesn't show, caption remains blank). I did not try yet to copy the body to be edited into the caption and add reply again, will do so right after this post.
IE is signaling errors on the page, I'm retranscripting the report below:
line: 259
character: 98586
error: 'buttons[...].type' has a Null value or is not an object
code: 0
url: http://www.creativecrash.com/forums/mel/topics/tokenize-bug
For a moment I suspected that my browser settings were in cause (every ActiveX applet has to be allowed by me on a page basis), but no prompt to allow such an applet was showing after an edit attempt. Then I restored factory settings (rebooted) and the error remained the same.
I will update to IE8, just in case.
Even though I understand complaints, I want to support the makers of creativecrash.
Go go go go creativecrash !!!
good catch on that one..
tried to add review to one script, but it was treated as spam, so I rewrote it and resubmit. as a result there are 2 reviews but counter says that there are 3
P.S. edit changes appear too slowly, when edit edited post changes are already at place, but after adding still no update, confusing
NOTE: I just clicked on the edit button, then browsed up to copy the body of the post I wanted to edit and pasted it below. I will now click on the Add Reply button, we'll see what happens :) Still no editor, no nothing, just the flash wheel running. Incidently, the error report of this page is the same as the one I experienced in the other thread (same line, same character number, same reason).
Clicking Add Reply now !
