Hi All,I wanted to play around with some footage and make it look similar to the A-Ha TAKE ON ME video. Is there a plug in for after effects that can get me started? Has anyone had success with doing this before?

I have tried researching and experimenting and I cant seem to get onto the right path. Thank you.

Its been rotoscoped. In other words each frame has been painted manually. There are a few tools out here that can semi automate this but they are definitevely not in your budget. (its not taht theres e inherent reason for them to be that expensive, its just thet a few studios actually doing thsi for a living dont want to share)
