Have you generated the mirror table so the main window has controllers in it similar to the description image? When you mirror, have you tried doing so both with a controller selected and none selected? If you have nothing selected when mirroring, the whole character will be mirrored.

Hello Denny,
I want to use your tool it seems very useful but when I click mirror nothing happens. i've been ripping my hair out trying to figure this out. I'm running maya 2012.
