RenderBucket helps with rendering scene files from Autodesk Maya on a single computer running OS X. It has the ability to handle multiple job files as one batch while giving access to the most commonly used render flags through an easy to use interface.

RenderBucket was originally created because setting up complex renders through the terminal can be quite a stressful and is easily prone to errors. In addition to that there is not as such a wide variety of similar software available on the mac platform as on the pc side, plus most tools only offer rendering one job at a time and don’t respect batch rendering of multiple jobs.

RenderBucket doesn't support network rendering at this time. Only local renders are supported.

Features:

- Batch rendering of multiple scene files
- Render scenes from different projects in one batch
- Set the commonly used render options from the user interface
- Define the version of Maya the scenes should be rendered with
- Delete jobs from the batch
- Define a timeout for each frame
- Kill the current job in the batch if any error occurs
- Continues with the next job in the list in case an error occurs
- Keeps track of all errors in the batch
- Keep a render log with all render times and the render commands
- Keep the Batch Render output as a separate file
- Shows the layer being rendered, as well as the time range, the currently rendering frame
- Features a progression bar for the current frame range
- Shows the start and end time of the batch and the total render time
- Universal Binary application
