Hi Dustin,
I just bought your plugin today and unfortunately realized that you can't set up quadrupeds with advanced rapid rig. I did a quick google search and found this post you made on March 25th, 2010:
"Hi Kiran,
A quadruped is definitely something I will be doing, but at this point, I want to work out all the bugs in my current biped rig before modifying it for a quadruped. Otherwise I will have to fix bugs in two different rigs when I find them.
Once I finish my features for my full version of this rig, I will begin working on the quad."
Is this something that will be implemented soon? Really need this for my four-legged character :P
Thanks, Dustin!
Best,
Bill
Hi Bill,
I am working on a modular rigging tool instead of a quapruped right now. The modular rig can be used for bipeds, quadrupeds and almost any other combination of limbs. It is not quite ready yet, as it is a much more complex system than the Rapid Rig Advanced.
I am still working on features and fixing bugs but once it is more stable I will be making it available :)
I know some users have had success positioning RRA into a quapruped position, although it is would be limited in some of the nice-to-have quadruped features. They were able to add to it to make it work to satisfy their needs.
I am currently on holidays and I only have my iPhone to communicate with, so I apologize if those message is full of spelling and grammar mistakes :)
