Hi Dustin, Like this script loads as I hate rigging, so thanks so much.

I am having one issue though.  If I translate the root control everythings working as expected other than the toe end of the feet.  Translating down results in the heels remaining where they are but the toe end is moving through the floor.  Obviously I need the feet to stay planted when translating the root control.  Please can you advise.  Thanks.

Hi Rich,

Would you mind sending me the file so I could have a look at it? That will help me figure out what is going on. You can send it to dustin(at)rapidrig(dot)com.

Thanks,

Dustin

Hi Dustin

Thanks for getting back so quickly.

Panic over, It is working, it's just Maya is not updating the foot IK bit until I move the foot. Don't know why it does this sometimes. Actually had this happen before. Anyway, sorry for worrying you.

Actually, While I'm here, I wonder if you have any idea on my other Maya issue. Every 10-15 mins Maya stops responding for a few mins then resumes. I've Spyware checked the system and its free from any, I've tried turning off Kaspersky, but this does not fix it, though it has increased the time between freezes. Any light you can shed would be mightily helpful as I'm in m final year at Uni and th freezing is very counterproductive to say the least. Thanks in advance...

Richard
p.s
The current project is not marked on my rig, so I'm not cheating:-)

Hey Richard,

I am not really familiar with Maya on the PC, so I am not sure what would you would be causing the issue you are having. You might want to check out CGTalk or some other forums to see if others are experiencing the same issues as you.

Good luck!
